Markerless AR using ones hand

Uniqlo 1000 Tokyo fashion map

_uniqlo

More fantastic work from Uniqlo, reenforcing the fact that you can still be creative whilst having the product at the heart of a piece. 1000 people, 1000 tastes, mapped across Tokyo. Heavy to load, but worth the wait.

If you haven’t seen previously, be sure to see Uniqlo Calendar.

Holography @ Fashion week

In celebration of London Fashion weeks 25th anniversary, my friend Jonathan Saunders came back to London yesterday to reveal his Spring 2010 collection - my pics here, but better on Vogue.

Continuing the fashion theme, Viktor and Rolf created a hologram to present their opening dress for their virtual Spring 09 fashion show in the Arnhem Mode Biennale 2009.

The technology has certainly moved on in terms of quality from Alexander McQueens Winter 2006 effort, but it feels strange to me to employ holography to preview couture dresses.
